  1. PAN Card of the Applicant:

    • Permanent Account Number (PAN) is mandatory for GST registration.

  2. Identity and Address Proof:

    • For individuals: Aadhar card, Voter ID, Passport, Driving License, etc.

    • For businesses: Incorporation Certificate, Partnership Deed, Memorandum of Association (MOA), Articles of Association (AOA), etc.

  3. Proof of Business Registration:

    • For proprietorship: Sole proprietorship registration or trade license.

    • For partnership firm: Partnership deed.

    • For LLP (Limited Liability Partnership): Certificate of Incorporation and LLP Agreement.

    • For companies: Certificate of Incorporation and Memorandum & Articles of Association.

  4. Address Proof for Place of Business:

    • For own premises: Latest property tax receipt or Municipal Khata copy.

    • For rented/leased premises: Rent/Lease agreement along with landlord's address proof.

  5. Bank Account Proof:

    • Scanned copy of the first page of bank passbook or a statement showing the bank details like the account number, the branch address, and the address of the account holder.

  6. Digital Signature (for certain categories of applicants):

    • Class 2 Digital Signature Certificate is required for companies and LLPs.

  7. Authorization Letter/Board Resolution:

    • In case the application for GST registration is being filed by an authorized signatory, a letter of authorization or board resolution authorizing the signatory to file the application is required.

  8. Photographs:

    • Passport-sized photographs of the applicant and authorized signatory.

  9. Additional Documents:

    • Depending on the type of business and nature of operations, additional documents may be required. For example, if the business is involved in the manufacturing sector, documents such as a copy of the electricity bill or the consent letter may be needed.
